Not able to pull up our records in Service, but 20 steps over in Finance they could

My husband and I purchased a 2020 Evoke in September 2019 from Camping World in Alvarado, TX. In July 2021 I discovered a soft spot in the floor. My husband took the camper back to Camping World on August 9.

It started bad right from the start with the service department. For some reason Sandra was not able to pull up our records in service but 20 steps over in Finance they could. A week went by when we received a call saying that they had discovered sopping wet insulation in the underbelly due to an improper trim seal. Sandra said we were out of our 12 month manufacturer warranty since we purchased in 2019.

We paid nearly $3000 for an extended warranty however we are being told that our warranty does not cover this. Camping World told us to call Forest River to see if they would do anything only to find out that Forest River did not make this model. The Evoke falls under Travel Light which we have not been able to reach anyone or have a call returned.

My husband called Camping World corporate on Aug 26th but no word from them either. We are being told we are responsible for 17 hours of diagnostic at $150 per hour, it will take 40 hours to repair and who knows how much materials will run. Sandra told us to file with our auto insurance. How can a company survive when they do not back their products? NEVER AGAIN Camping World
